ATTENTION! packed with lots and lots of amazingness~

i haven’t been online for a while but now i want to introduce you to an artist (if you haven’t heard of her already- shame on you) i do more than just admire.

her name is zhang jingna but most people might be more familiar with “zemotion”

the amazing thing about her is that despite the things she has already accomplished at such age- she remains very humble (we are about the same age and compared to her i feel like i have achieved anything in life yet).

she is an inspiration to me and i am sure to many others as well.

i am not entering this contest just because i want to win a postcard book (although it’s like a cherry on top of a chocolate muffin topped with whipped cream) i just want her to know how amazing she is and i have wanted to write this entry for a long time (if you read this~ hi^^//)

some day i will be able to purchase her amazing book ♥~

why i like her artworks … well- just have a look at them  ♥♥♥

(being asian makes me even a bigger fan .. i suppose ^^)

the first one i saw was this one.

it had something really calm and serene about it and the girl portrayed was just so beautiful to me.

a little while passed until i found out it was zemotion herself.

i also love her blog entries and that she takes the time to share her experiences, thoughts and moments from her life. her pictures of her journeys and travelling are so beautiful- they even raise my wanderlust. and make me crave for more.

besides admiring her as an artist- she is also a reason why i finally decided to quit my studies. to do what i feel i should be doing. not because she advised me to or anything of the sort but reading her entries just made me realize that you don’t always have to fit the norm and i noticed that wasting your time with pursueing goals people have in mind for you, isn’t the way you should live your life.

just love the way her art was displayed- it made it look very personal. i would have loved to be there ♥

i am just grateful that there are amazing artists just like her. i won’t say i am an expert or it’s my right to judge but i appreciate beautiful things and she is definitely (i know i repeat myself) an inspiring person. she is real and encourages other people not to be afraid to pursue your dreams.

there are just so few who do what they love to do..

and what they were born to do.

i hope to meet her one day-

At 14, a mere nine months after picking up air rifle, she broke the national record and joined the national team.

Jingna left school again in late 2007, and subsequently the national team, after her Commonwealth medals, to pursue photography full time.

Within a year, just upon turning 20, Jingna was approached to shoot for Mercedes Benz Taiwan by Ogilvy & Mather, and became a regular contributor to Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore subsequently.

she is a born shooting star ^^
