[Tip] The restaurant “Mandu” in Bonn (Germany) – the name says it all. The little restaurant offers 4 types of them (dumplings). The steamed ones have a kimchi, meat or vegetable stuffing. The mandus are really tasty and light. Even the fried dumplings do which is usually something rare to find. The menu offers different combinations of dishes and you don’t have to wait for your dishes for too long.
The bibimbap which they offer is a good start for newbies to the Korean cuisine. With a high portion of vegetables (not stir fried) and topped with a fried egg (you can choose the bibimbap version with meat if you like) it tastes like a fresh salad. The rice is being served separately and the red sauce which can be added is on the table so you can use it to your hearts content ^^
But before the bibimbap is served you will get your share of Chapchae (noodles with vegetables).
Besides the mandus we also recommend the ginger tea which is really delicious.
